I'll keep this short 'cause I'm supposed to be writing posts for mycyber book tour, starting tomorrow.  Blog book tours arerelatively new and a great way for an author to promote his/her bookwithout spending a lot of money on travel costs. Since a lot ofauthors, especially first time ones, have inconveniently time-consumingday jobs, it's also a way to 'travel' without taking time off fromwork. I've had invaluable advice on the process from Dani at HotButtonPress. She has gently coerced, nagged and advised me on things todo to promote my book, myself and my website and I can't say enoughnice things about her. And, like Lisa, Queen Wombat, Dani alsoexpects me to write every day. No whining!Â
At anyrate, I have stayed off the threads for the most part because, like Girin INVADER ZIM (if you haven't seen this show, watch it!), I am easilydistracted. No television either - it's been music in thebackground for the last week. I still have two posts to write, both of which have to be finished by tomorrow night. But I missyou guys and I KNOW Miss Julie is gonna make me pay for missing so manydays at the cathouse! Â
I hope you'll check out the stops on my tour. These are all interesting blogs written by talented andsupportive writers. Plus, leaving comments enters you to win afree copy of MURDER FOR HIRE: THe Peruvian Pigeon. Which is mybook, btw. I guess I should mention that. Â
Sigh. Back to work. Â

You go girl. why spend all that time writing, then editing if you aren't willing to get out there and promote it too.
And Amy, thank you so much for getting the book! i really appreciate it every time someone actually buys a copy. It's...well, it's just great!
