Post Cards...by Michael

Post cards were exchanged by Jill and Jerry throughout the years. You see, they each traveled a lot. It was always a beautiful picture of the location they stayed at, along with a short hand written love note. Sometimes they would travel together and there was no need send those post cards. As time went on, they lost contact with one another. They now lived in different cities as addresses were changed along with phone numbers. It's now been twenty five years since they last saw each other as only vague dreams and memories remained. Jerry moved back to the original city he lived in. Strange how it was the exact same apartment on the exact same street. Jill decided to move back to the original city she lived in. Strange how it was the exact same apartment on the exact same street. Somehow she tracked him down and mailed a post card to him. He looked at his usual mail and spotted a post card which must be read first. A beautiful photo of the statue of the liberty was the photo. A love note written by hand made him cry. He responded by picking up the phone and dialing her number which was left on the post card. They never lost touch again as eventually a wedding date was set. Jill and Jerry now live together in their own home as the face of the statue of liberty smiled on a postcard that was saved...Maybe something magical happened here where the former couple was supposed to end up together once again. Case in point where post cards kept them together....
